Six Reasons to Visit Left Bank This Spring

THE SPRING HIT LIST

We made it.

The afternoons are getting longer, lunch can legitimately turn into drinks and sitting by the Yarra suddenly sounds like a very good idea again.

Good timing, because there’s a lot happening at Left Bank this spring. Breakfast is now on, there’s a new Spring/Summer menu to work through, half-price drinks are taking care of weekday afternoons and Spring Racing is already gearing up for November.

Consider this your spring hit list.

Breakfast worth getting up for

Breakfast by the Yarra, but not necessarily the sensible kind. We’re serving all the morning essentials alongside breakfast cocktails for when coffee alone isn’t going to cut it. Grab something before work or settle in, order a round and let breakfast turn into something bigger.

Racing season starts here

Cup Day and Oaks Day are coming back to the Southbank this November with three hour long lunches, free flowing drinks, Best Dressed comp, live racing, DJs and the Mumm Champagne Tower. Tickets are already moving fast, so if Spring Racing at Left Bank is on the cards this year, don’t leave this one sitting in the group calendar for too long.

Half price
from 3pm

Weekday afternoons just got considerably more appealing. Half Price Happiness means 50% off drinks from 3–6pm, Monday to Friday, including cocktails, wine and beer. Three hours, half price and a table by the river. We’ll leave the maths to you.

Spring tastes better here

The new Spring Summer menu has landed with fresh new dishes, plenty to share and a few very good reasons to book a table outside. Come for lunch, order for the middle and don’t be surprised if one drink turns into a few and suddenly it’s late afternoon.

Big Beer week meets footy finals

Big Beer Week is running right through to Grand Final Day, with all the footy finals action live on the screens. We’ve got beer specials throughout the week, a dedicated Beer Menu, our $35 Sunday Roast and plenty more happening right through to the final siren.

Bottomless looks better riverside

Three courses, two hours of bottomless drinks and a riverside table. Our Bottomless Sessions run every weekend, with cocktails, wine and beer flowing while you work your way through the menu. Birthdays, catch-ups or just because it’s finally warm enough to make plans again, spring weekends are made for this
