Why Teremana?
A partnership built on restraint, not hype
Tequila is having a moment. And moments can get noisy.
There’s no shortage of bottles promising bold flavour, instant premium status, or a reason to shout about themselves. We weren’t looking for any of that. We were looking for a tequila that would work quietly, consistently, and well. The kind that’s crafted perfectly and shines in margaritas.
That’s why we chose Teremana as our No Rush Energy tequila partner.

How Teremana is made
and why that matters
Teremana is crafted in small batches in the highlands of Jalisco using fully mature 100% blue Weber agave, harvested by hand. The agave is slow roasted in traditional brick ovens, then distilled in handmade copper pot stills.
Those choices aren’t about tradition for tradition’s sake. They’re about clarity. This process produces a tequila that’s clean, expressive and balanced, where the agave shows through without being softened by sweetness or buried under oak.
For us, that matters because it determines how a tequila behaves once it’s mixed.

What it does in a margarita
A margarita is a test of restraint.
There’s nowhere to hide. With fresh lime and minimal sweetness, any imbalance shows quickly. A heavy tequila flattens the drink. An aggressive one sharpens the citrus.
Teremana Tequila Blanco sits cleanly in the middle, supporting the lime and staying in balance as dilution increases.
The result is a margarita that stays fresh from the first sip to the last.

building the recipe
A margarita looks simple, which is exactly why it’s easy to get wrong. When there are only a few ingredients, small decisions matter more than people realise. So when we build our margaritas, these are the things we focus on:
Lime first. Add it gradually and stop before it tastes sharp on its own. If the lime dominates early, it won’t recover once the drink dilutes.
Sweetness last. It should soften the lime, not register as flavour. If you can taste sweetness, there’s already too much.
Tequila check. If the tequila feels hot or heavy, don’t fix it with sugar. Change the base or rebalance the acid instead.
Dilution test. Let the drink sit for a minute, then taste again. If it falls apart as the ice melts, the structure isn’t right yet.
That’s why a clean, well made tequila like Teremana matters. It keeps the recipe tight and the drink in balance.

Made for the table
Margaritas work best with food. The citrus keeps things fresh, the salt brings it together, and you’re ready for another bite.
That’s how we built the dishes for this campaign. Guacamole and corn chips are crisp and zesty and work naturally with the margaritas. Slow cooked birria and cheese are rich and salty, made for another sip. Jalapeño poppers bring a bit of heat that keeps things interesting.
They’re made for the middle of the table, easy to share, and ordered as you go. Come try them together.
