If your job permits it then chuck those headphones on and get in the zone. If you find yourself a really interesting podcast then hours could fly by, who knows, the podcast might even inspire you in your job.
Stop putting off the inevitable
You know that one job that you have been putting off because you simply cannot be bothered? Just do it. Once this job is over, everything else seems much more achievable and less stressful.
Take 5
Sitting down and staring at a screen all day is not the greatest way to become inspired or be productive. Every couple of hours it is important to get up, walk around and do some stretches. Moving your body will help you survive that long day, trust us!

Section your day
First thing in the morning, sit down and plan your day. Give yourself blocks for completing jobs, but also give yourself blocks to break and refresh.
Have something to look forward to
It is easy to look forward to 5 pm, but you cannot spend all day wishing it was the end. The real tactic is to have something to look forward to during the workday, whether it be going out for a lunch and a cheeky wine, or that scone in the break room.
Take your lunch break
This seems like a no brainer, but a large number of people don’t actually take their lunch break or have their lunch at their desk. This is your sign to get out of the office or house and make use of your ‘you’ time. Book yourself a lunch and thank us later
Snack
Set yourself up for a good day with ample snacks, it is the perfect excuse to leave your desk and move your body, and plus, food fixes everything. Save yourself the $$ and pack them.
