There is a museum completely dedicated to strawberries.
A town in Belgium called Wépion is berry obsessed and has created a museum to show off their very own strawberries. Their strawberries are in high demand and are known to be the best throughout the country. The museum also has a small store selling strawberries, jam, candies and even strawberry beer!
Strawberries have more vitamin C than an orange
Most people think that oranges have a higher level of vitamin C compared to any other fruit. Believe it or not strawberries actually contain more, with one single strawberry containing roughly 10.5 mg, compared to 70 mg of vitamin C in an orange.
Strawberries are sweeter at room temperature
Ever wondered how to enhance the flavour of a strawberry? A great tip is to take them out of the fridge and let them reach room temperature. Strawberries can be packed full of flavour no matter the size or shape of them and are best to be consumed within a few days to ensure they are still ripe.
