Strawberry Face Mask
Strawberries are packed full of natural antioxidants. The best way to really let the antioxidants sink in is by applying those right to your face with an easy to make face mask. Using fresh strawberries may help keep your complexion bright.
For this face mask you should aim to use overripe strawberries. They will prevent your mask from becoming too liquidy as the older the fruit tends to have less moisture. Remember this before throwing out that leftover punnet of strawberries from your fridge.
Now onto the steps:
1. Mash 2 to 3 strawberries with a fork until it makes a pulp.
2. Next add a tablespoon of raw honey, and stir until it becomes a paste.
3. Next massage the mask into your face for a minute or two, relax and let it rest for 10-15 more minutes.
4. Rinse off with warm water and enjoy your fresh looking skin.
Strawberry Vinaigrette
You can even create a delicious strawberry vinaigrette, a great addition to any salad.
Steps:
1. Place the strawberries in a blender; cover and process until pureed.
2. Add lemon juice and sugar; cover and process until blended.
3. While processing, gradually add vinegar and oil in a steady stream; process until thickened. Stir in poppy seeds.
4. Transfer to a large bowl or jar; cover and store in the refrigerator.
5. Use it on your next salad for that added strawberry sweetness.
