We respect the privacy of our users and do not collect information from you without your knowledge. We may request your name, e-mail address, contact phone number, mailing address and such other information that we may reasonably require to process any requests from you and to notify you of products, services or offers. We will not release your personal information and usage data to outside organisations.
We may also use information collected for market analysis and provide aggregate statistics to reputable third party vendors but we will not include any information that will personally identify you.
In the event that We merge with, or We or Our business are acquired by, another legal entity, the personal information collected by Us may be transferred to that other legal entity as an asset and you hereby consent to the transfer of such information to that other legal entity.
It is our intention to only send you email communications that will be useful to you and that you want to receive. We may occasionally send notifications of new products, services or offers from us to your designated email address. General Terms and Conditions
When electing to book an event, Left Bank Melbourne requires that a minimum spend is reached on a given day. These change based on the day, or may be waived in the off season or by management’s discretion. The minimum spend applicable to your event is detailed on your Events. Minimum Spends are for food and beverage only and do not include items like, but not limited to, security, entertainment, theming, furniture hire or audio visual. If your Event End Value is below the value of the Minimum Spend, a ‘venue hire fee’ will apply. The venue hire fee will be equal to the difference between your Event End Value and the Minimum Spend.
Deposits are issued according to the estimated number of guests attending an event and are necessary to secure your group booking. Any function booked at Left Bank Melbourne is not considered confirmed until the confirmation deposit is paid.
The following payment schedule for events must be strictly adhered to:
Holding Deposit: 20% of the Event End Value, due within 7 days of the initial booking and upon signing of your contract.
Progress Deposit: 30% of the Event End Value, due six months prior to the event date.
Final Payment: 100% of the Event End Value must be received as cleared funds by 12 noon, two days prior.
Security Bond (Refundable): $2,000 payable by credit card for a 7 day hold. Alternatively, you may pay the security bond by cash, or bank cheque.
We charge 5% surcharge on Sundays and 15% surcharge on Public Holidays.
In the unfortunate situation that a customer needs to cancel a booking or event, cancellations must be done with our Events Manager between the hours of 9-5pm Monday – Friday.
CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY AT EVENTS
It’s the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all guests behave in an orderly manner during the event. Guests are expected to comply with the behavioral codes of Left Bank and Victorian Licensing Laws, such as Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), under which the restaurant operates. Any damage to premises, persons or equipment as a result of disorderly conduct by guests at the event is the responsibility of the client, in the instance where damage has occurred, all associated costs will be charged to the nominated credit card. It’s our policy to provide you with the best possible service by friendly and professional staff in order to ensure the success of your event. The discretion of management will ensure a safe, harmonious and enjoyable event.
Please note that prices listed and seasonal availability whilst current at the time of quotation are subject to change without notice. We endevour to maintain our menus and beverages as printed, however, these may be subject to change at our discretion from time to time. All menu and beverage selections must be confirmed no later than 30 days prior to your event date. It’s your responsibility to inform us in writing of any dietary requirements or allergies your guests may have.
At the time of publication, all pricing listed on our website is accurate and final. We reserve the right to amend this without formal notice at time to time. Pricing listed on third party websites, directories, social media channels or other mediums are intended to be a guideline and are not final.
Whilst every effort will be made to return belongings post-event to their owners, Left Bank will take no responsibility or make any reimbursements for lost property. Event hosts should take home any gifts received during a function when leaving the venue.
BOOKINGS OVER 8
All bookings over 8 people require a $30 deposit, per person. This deposit can be redeemed towards your total bill. We can only hold table/s for you for a maximum of 30 minutes past your booking time. We reserve the right for the deposit to be forfeited should you either not show, reduce your booking size without notice, or arrive after 30 minutes past your booking time.
