Upon arrival, guests were greeted with an array of delicious chocolate cocktails, each carefully curated to tantalise the taste buds. Whether it was the Mocha Espresso Martini or the White Chocolate Passionfruit Martini, every sip was a heavenly delight. To ensure everyone could partake in the festivities, the bartenders also concocted a delightful mocktail.
The culinary journey was nothing short of extraordinary, with each course meticulously prepared to complement the chocolate experience. For starters, the Clay Stone Baked Harvey Bay Scallops with hazelnut and whisky chocolate beurre blanc were a delightful treat, perfectly paired with The Lane Block 10 Sauvignon Blanc. The Mocha Chimichurri Lamb Rack, accompanied by a potato fondue puree and pepper chocolate sauce, took centre stage as the main course, best enjoyed alongside the Hancock & Hancock Tempranillo. Dessert was a decadent affair with the Baked Raspberry & Walnut Brie, complemented by kumquat habanero chocolate relish and thyme brioche crisps, expertly paired with Gordon Ramsay Intenso Rosso. A perfect culinary journey for all who attended.
The event also featured a Chocolate Fountain with fresh strawberries, a Zeppole Station boasting an array of delectable dipping sauces, and an array of other treats to keep the chocolate journey going.
