Introducing RSRV Blanc De Noir by Maison Mumm
Traditionally reserved to a privileged circle of Maison Mumm’s friends and gastronomy chefs, this exceptional cuvee is now accessible to select venues as a premise-only wine. This isn't a pour you will find in your Dan Murphys or BWS, infact this wine is one of Mumm Champagne House's finest to sip on this Spring Racing season.
The Mumm RSRV Blanc de Blancs cuvée reflects the richness of the House’s terroir and the outstanding expertise used to produce its champagnes. It is made exclusively from Chardonnay grown on historic plots in Cramant in the Côte des Blancs appellation, acquired by Mumm in 1882.
The result is an exceptionally lively wine with wonderful minerality.
The color is yellow with golden highlights, light and delicate bubbles. The wine is complex, greedy and rich. The first nose is expressed on fresh notes of yellow and white fruits. It opens with fruit marmalade, honey, nougat and vanilla, as well as a hint of roast and mocha. The palate is frank and lively, then gives way to the roundness that settles gradually. The elegance and complexity of the Cuvée 4.5 gives it the versatility to pair well with Mediterranean seafood with a creamy sauces or lamb with chanterelle mushrooms.
